CohibaLanceros

The Lanceros is the original Cohiba. Fidel Castro's bodyguard offered him a fuma, a cigar rolled by a torcedor for personal use, sometime around 1962 or 1963; Castro liked it so much that a small factory was set up in 1964 to make more, eventually becoming the El Laguito factory. That first unnamed cigar became the Lanceros, one of only three sizes sold when Cohiba reached the public market in 1982.

Rolled on the Laguito No. 1 vitola and handmade, it comes in a varnished boite nature box of 25 cigars, still made today on the same long panetela shape that started the brand.
