The Birley Cigar Safe has been created to meet the increasing demand from those who want a safe home for their cigars. Those who understand the difference between a well-kept cigar and one that has suffered from inadequate storage conditions.

Three main considerations influence the enjoyment of cigars.  First, the selection of the right size and blend to satisfy your taste; second, the condition of the cigars; and third, the company in which you choose to smoke them. We at Birley Cigars can only truly guide the choice of cigars and influence the condition.

Constantly fluctuating environments can be disastrous for cigars. Swings in temperature and humidity cause the tobacco to expand and contract, risking damage to the wrappers and disrupting the maturing process. Perfect ageing conditions depend upon calculating the right mix of temperature, humidity and fresh air. Most conventional humidors pump in humidity from one source and air-conditioned air from another. They rely solely upon the occasional opening of the doors or lids to introduce fresh air.  At best, this offers a random solution.  At worst, it simply does not work. The engineering behind the Birley Cigar Safe includes for the first time a system that delivers the correct mixture of all three components – temperature, humidity and fresh air – to ensure the perfect conditions for your collection.   In addition the technology allows you in real time to electronically monitor the precise conditions in which your cigars are stored, or to obtain print-outs of current or historical readings for your records.

No other system in the world today allows the collector to supervise their own locker with such precision as the facility that has been designed exclusively for the Birley Cigars. It raises the art and science of ageing cigars to a new level.  No longer is it necessary to depend on people to do their best to look after your collection.  Instead members can rest assured that their cigars are being kept properly with a record of the storage provenance to prove it.

Welcome to the world of Birley Cigars.
