CohibaAmbar

Habanos S.A. announced the Ambar in 2021 as part of Cohiba's 55th anniversary celebrations, introducing the Placeres vitola, entirely new to the Cuban portfolio. It then took nearly three years to reach the market, finally arriving in stores in early 2024.

Handmade with a pigtail cap in the style of the Behike, Lanceros and Talisman, it's packaged in a varnished boite nature box of 10 cigars. Cigar Aficionado later named it the No. 2 cigar of 2025 with a rating of 97 points, the highest score of any Cuban cigar the magazine tested that year.
